We didn't do the trail , we opted for the little bus up to the top. The views are awesome. Would love to see it again with snow although I asked and was told they close the park because during winter the roads are to steep and slippery for any one to go up.

Nice experience here! It was $5 to enter, but this also gave you access to take the shuttle to the top. They also bring you back down. They have restrooms, vending machines and a giftshop. At the top is a small historic museum and of course the best views of all! Restrooms are also available up top as well as vending machines(they were not working). If you don't want to take the shuttle you can go to the top taking the trail. It is very steep and not for the faint of heart. There are plenty of benches to rest if needed and things to read on the way up. Took us about 20 minutes with a few short breaks to get up there. But it was worth it for me!

I loved it , amazing place to go this time of the year to see all the colors of the fall.
worth the 2 hour drive from Gwinnet county and looking forward to go back soon
the entrance to the park is $5 per person no per vehicle and 15 years or younger are free. but they give you the ride to the top .

It's so very beautiful in the North Georgia mountains. This trailhead is at Brasstown Bald. The tallest mountain peak in Georgia.
